You must add at least 5 litres of AdBlue® to its tank. AdBlue®(with 1.5 BlueHDi Euro 6.2/ 6.3) On for around 30 seconds when starting the vehicle, accompanied by a message indicating the remaining driving range. The remaining driving range is between 1,500 and 500 miles (2,400 and 800 km). You must top up the AdBlue®. This system consists of a priming pump and a transparent pipe under the bonnet. A full tank of Adblue should last 10-12,000 miles. The Adblue tank has a 17L capacity. You must add a minimum of just under 4 litres for the system to register. It may not register immediately but 9L should be enough. If it doesn't register within 2 or 3 days there may be an issue. You do not need to add more.

Citroen sells a 1.89 litre bottle for £7.84 inc. VAT and a 10 litre container for £10.33 inc. VAT. As you are not supposed to keep the fluid long term, you end up buying not enough or too much for the 17 litre tank if its near empty.
