Poor Fuel Economy. Just changed from a mk3 2.0TDCi to a mk4 59 plate 2.0TDCi Titaniuim X, and finding the fuel economy is pretty shocking! i regularly to 30 mile each way motorway runs down the M62 (with normally means at least 90 minutes travel each way) plus other 10-15 mile runs around. Mondeo's have no form of passive regeneration as the exhaust will never get anywhere near the temperature required to burn soot without the extra diesel on the exhaust stroke. It requires 600C+ and even under full throttle you're unlikely to get past 350-400C.
