I see this all the time and I really disagree. I've played Sims 3 for probably 5-600 hours. I enjoy the game a lot. I started with just the base game, which I got on sale, and played that for 40-50 hours without any expansions.
No way to integrate it into your own account. I went and chatted to somebody in customer service. If you have 1 disc/case from the Sims 2 and send them a picture of it, they will give you the ultimate collection on your Origin account. I dont know if this is still a thing or not however.
