2 days ago · The Mazda CX-3 is equipped with a SKYACTIV-D 1.5-liter diesel engine, which is known for its fuel efficiency and power. However, like any other engine, it can experience some common issues that may require attention. One of the most common issues with the SKYACTIV-D 1.5-liter diesel engine is related to the diesel particulate filter (DPF).
Thè regen process does work efficiently without the addition òf snake oil. Dealers only replace parts, the mechanics and most of the SM's don't have the academic knowledge or experience to diagnose problems that don't appear on the Mazda system.
Here is my DPF taken out just before regen cycle: View attachment 284830 Well, I explained I hate how Mazda ECU decide to regen completely unclogged DPF every 40 km and I don’t want to keep investigating this, it has been 1.5 years now. So I took my car and drove home, when I saw the damn DPF regeneration started again!! Freaked out!
The 2.2 Mazda diesel is the one that keeps popping up as having issues with regen related dpf issues, oil dilution/rising oil levels and general big bill problems. If it’s cropped up at that age
